About the founder

¡Hola!

I am Dorelis, a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, South America. I hold a degree in Modern Languages from the Central University of Venezuela, with a specialisation in translation between Spanish, English, and Italian.

From a young age, I developed a deep passion for exploring different cultures. This has given me a profound appreciation for the connections we can form despite our differences. I firmly believe that diversity enriches our lives and that language is a powerful bridge to understanding and unity.

Since 2004, I have gained extensive experience teaching Spanish, Italian, and English in various educational settings, including university programmes, private institutes, and schools. These experiences have fuelled my passion for teaching and shaped my professional path.

In 2015, I began offering Spanish classes online, embracing the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world. A few months later, I embarked on an incredible five-year journey living in London, where I had the honour of teaching students from diverse backgrounds in person. During the pandemic, many of my students and I transitioned to online lessons, allowing us to continue our learning journey seamlessly.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, I understand that every student is unique. That’s why I don’t rely on a single methodology. Instead, I adapt my approach to suit each individual’s learning style, interests, and goals, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience.
